Rules and Policies

SNOW DAYS:
• IF DELAWARE CITY SCHOOLS CLOSE in the morning, we’ll have NO MORNING CLASSES. We will decide about AFTERNOON classes by 2:00 pm. Please check online or by phone after 2:00.
• IF DELAWARE CITY SCHOOLS CLOSE EARLY due to incoming or worsening afternoon/evening weather, we will NOT HAVE EVENING CLASSES. We schedule actual make-up days for snow days.
Restroom:
Please accompany your young children to the restroom. Let us know if there are any problems with the restrooms.
Front Waiting Room/ Central Observation Room:
Toys are for 3 and under. Please supervise your children in these rooms. Students and siblings need to stay in these areas between classes. DO NOT PLAY ON OPEN EQUIPMENT.
The Gym and Front Gym Area:
ONLY REGISTERED STUDENTS ACCOMPANIED BY AN INSTRUCTOR in the Gym areas. Please remember that even though the front gym area is accessible, except during weekend parties, THIS IS NOT AN OPEN GYM. Students and siblings need to stay off the mats and equipment between classes.
Clothing:
Students should wear “gym clothes” which may include sweats, shorts, T-shirt, or leotard. Middle and High School cheerleaders must wear T-SHIRTS. NO HALF-TOPS, TANK TOPS, OR BARE MIDRIFFS. Wear socks and NON-MARKING, CLEAN tennis shoes (no street shoes). No Jeans, no street clothes, no sandals. We will be running and sweating and exercising and stretching during every class, so dress accordingly.
Parents:
A Parent should be on the floor with us if you have registered for one of the Tiger Cub Classes (Parent-Tot). Otherwise, NO PARENTS or siblings on the floor. You may wait in the waiting area, with toys and activities available for little ones, or you may watch class from the Central Observation Room.
Siblings:
Little Siblings who are not able to watch without wanting to run out and play MUST wait with a parent in the central observation room (not the front waiting area). NO UNREGISTERED STUDENTS MAY ENTER THE GYM AT ANY TIME unless led by an instructor.
Make-ups:
Schedule a make-up class with the desk for any of the other regularly scheduled class times. You may make-up missed classes any time during that session. Only classes missed the last week of a session can be made up the following session. We do not refund or prorate fees for missed classes. You are paying for the reserved right to come to the classes each month and make-ups are your responsibility. If we cancel classes for any reason, we will provide a make-up day or adjust fees at our discretion.
Payments
Payments are due by the 25th of each month for the following month’s classes. There is a late fee of $5 additional for late payments. Your spot in class is reserved as long as you make your payment on time. You may lose your spot if payment is late and there is a waiting list. Late fees do not apply to NEW students enrolling after the 25th.
